Steel toe boots and Damascus steel knife on sale for $200

Steel toe shoes are the most popular footwear option among teens and women, according to research by MTV News.

The research firm polled 800 teens, asking them if they were interested in wearing a pair of steel toe shoes or Damascus steel knives for a week.

Steel toe shoe sales were up 20 percent year over year in 2015, according the research firm, while Damascus steel-toed shoes were up 32 percent.

The footwear category also grew for women, as 18 percent of them purchased steel toe booties, compared with 14 percent for Damascus steel toe footwear.

“We wanted to get a sense of the type of people who are looking for these types of products and how the types of brands were growing,” said Nicole Kann, VP of consumer research at MTV News, in an interview.

“We really wanted to find out what brand people were looking for.”

Steel toe boots were among the first footwear to gain traction among teens, according for MTV News: “They’re a great option for the younger crowd, because they have a lot of flex,” said Kann.

“They have a really solid toe and they’re durable.”

Kann said the brands have a loyal following.

“You can get them at your local Wal-Mart, Target, Target or Walgreens and they have the most traction.

People are really loving them,” she said.

“It’s also the first type of footwear to actually sell well, so that’s very exciting.”

Kanna says that the popularity of the brands is driven by a combination of factors.

“There’s a growing interest among girls,” Kann said.

That’s one of the reasons why Damascus steel shoes are a great fit for young girls.

“Girls are more open-minded, more accepting and they want a good pair of shoes, so they are more interested in looking for a good choice.”

The research firm also found that steel toe socks are also growing in popularity, especially among women.

“The girls are very open to a different type of shoe,” said Katya Niv, VP and director of research at Myspace.

“Socks with different types of materials are more popular than socks that are just plain leather or just plain nylon.”

Steel toe socks were also up 18 percent in the last year, compared to a 17 percent increase in Damascus steel socks, the research report said.MTV News has reached out to brands for comment on the new findings.
